About Cedar College
Cedar College is a private educational institution in Karachi, Pakistan, specializing in advanced-level (A-level) programs under the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) curriculum, with a focus on holistic learning that integrates academics, technology, extracurricular activities, and liberal arts to develop confident, critical-thinking global citizens.
Our Background & Heritage
Established in 2014 by a consortium of teachers disillusioned with traditional pedagogy in Pakistan's A-level schools, Cedar College emerged from a vision to create a teacher-owned model emphasizing innovation, self-belief, and collective responsibility in education. The institution quickly positioned itself as one of Pakistan's premier A-level colleges, known for its rigorous academic standards, supportive mentorship, and balanced approach to studies and personal growth.
Cedar College offers specialized programs in subjects like sciences, humanities, and languages, alongside initiatives such as music clubs (C-Sharp), applied science research (CoRDS), and foreign language instruction including German. Its library resources, including books, periodicals, and research assistance, further support an environment geared toward university preparation and leadership cultivation.
