Not that worth it really. There are some teachers that don't finish the syllabus and it really messes you up in the actual exam. One of my teachers didn't cover a whole section of poems in english literature, and one of the poems from that exact section came in the exam. You could literally hear the gasps in the exam room because nobody was prepared because the teacher didn't do anything. He just "didn't feel like teaching." These are literal words that he sent to one of my friends in a private conversation on whatsapp after the paper. I mean, why are you teaching if you're not doing your job? Your whole point is to teach. So beware, some teachers can be like that so you have to actually be independent in terms of your academics and focus on completing the syllabus yourself. Stay ahead of college. Dont rely on the teacher alone. Moving onto ECAs, honestly i wish they would have expanded their extracurriculars, it feels really limited. I did a total of 5 internships in 2025 after my AS. Not a single extracurricular opportunity or internship was from alpha. You're better off finding stuff online like i did. Alpha doesn't have THAT much to offer. Moving onto the social life. I'm going to be blunt, it's horrible. The environment is horrible. It is such a toxic and suffocating environment and it ruined my mental health. Of course you'll find good people, but alot of the people there are bigoted and judgemental people. It's really exhausting to be around these types of people for 2 whole years. Nontheless i hope you find your circle if you do go anyways. The academics.. it's okay. Like i mentioned earlier about how some teachers don't really cover the syllabus properly. It's a 50/50 kinda thing. And since the A level syllabus is so extensive, they really rush it at the end, and you dont properly end up getting it. Aside from that i'd say the academics is alright. The facilities to support academics are fine. There's orbed videos, then there are the extra classes, as well as the ATs that you can go to during your break to understand things you're struggling with. I do agree with some other reviews about how the college is too cramped. There's genuinely no space to sit at all sometimes and the library is ALWAYS packed. We need more space. But honestly overall it's a pretty mid college. Ruined my mental AND physical health for the past two years. Genuinely was so unhappy in terms of social life. I think there was a point where inwas crying every single day in college. Idk i'm sure this isn't everybody's experience but at this point this is more of a rant than a review 😭 proceed with caution just go to nixor at this point

Faculty is great and academics is the priority of teachers. But the campus is too crowded. And eca opportunities are limited.

Honestly speaking, Alpha was my choice just because of convenience. I was about to go to Nixor but as it was far away from my house, I had to chose alpha. I don't regret my decision but I feel like if I was at Nixor, things would've been better. Alpha was mid. ECA opportunities are limited, you're not free to creat your own society despite having potential. ECA heads are very egoistic. Teachers are great, and education is their top priority I've observed, they don't let you fail exams, you get mandatory AT sessions if you fail tests, which is a good thing. Furthermore, crowd. Hella crowd. If alpha gets another campus and manages to control crowd, things will become better.

No rewards for good academics...how brilliantly awful this iss ...isn't itt??

It's a great college if you want good grades, and that's about it. If you want to partake in sports, it isn't the best, if you want to partake in music, Alpha doesn't allow music in campus becaus it's "haram." If you want to partake in events and ECA, you don't have much options as there is not much events and ECA available.

If you want to change your teacher, then go to the councillor and say that you want to drop that subject since the teacher is not good or change your teacher and also say that your parents are gonna visit the college if the issue is not resolved. Only then would the teacher will be change or else no action is taken

They won't help you with any teacher changes if you are struggling with any subject plus Theay would detain you in college till 5 pm just for missing assignment/hw and plus for just being 5 mins or few mins late. They won't even respec t students plus considering the campus life there is actually nothing other playing badminton third class basket ball court plus padel is built for only for directors events are very few and most of them are all worst no campuses life at all Highly not recommended please!!! Don't waste your 2 yr s in this shifty college

Academics wise the institute is average it does not assist with anything. As an institution your job is to facilitate a student understand where they are lacking and help them cope with the studies. There should be private counseling sessions done by the teachers weekly to ensure that whatever we are teaching is it being absorbed by the student is the student facing any difficulties any mental health issues. Some students are shy to speak up do they have any such issues in difficulty approaching the teacher. But there isn’t any such measures taken. At the end of every class rather than completing the topic they should focus on question answer session of what didn’t the class understand. Specially past paper sessions should be held which are a must not tests, but a proper past paper sessions once a week that should be Friday specially for AS level students. As a student who doesn’t get the science of the paper easily I used to have too much difficulty in understanding what the question demands specially in Biology. The teachers must and should teach how to attempt the paper what is the science and what is the way or technique to study. The ECA dept. is useless as they have created houses those houses have department of media, logistics, marketing and etc which aren’t even needed at this point. They should remove all of this unnecessary bs and rather make it mandatory for students to have certain hours of volunteer work and internships. Honestly it is a mandatory to be volunteering and do internships in universities like NUST and FAST. Such universities collaborate with small scale startups, multiple companies and businesses to make their students capable while our academic counselor over here be like beta you have CS, Physics and Maths you aren’t getting good marks in maths and you can’t perform take urdu as the subject, they don’t have the slightest of understanding that for a student to do Bachelors in Software Engineering/ CS/ Robotics/ AI that student needs maths its a basic requirement internationally by all universities specially the IVY leagues. For every subject a student can’t do take urdu. They never have tried to assist a student, like if you can’t do maths lets assist you with your subject teacher. No rather they appoint ATs who themselves are less experienced or either don’t know how to teach many times. If you don’t attend college or ATs then detention. All they every focus on is making the student think because you are weak in a subject you have done a sin and you can’t be forgiven like what the hell is wrong with you guys. Facilities they provide are acceptable, basically want to make money we can’t buy our own read and write past papers we have to use teachers compiled past papers which are really bad they have many errors and MS many times don’t have answers. They give these past papers as hw which nobody does because everyone just uses AI when we are given large pile of work with no other way to complete in a day if you are in directors class god forbid you are kicked out because work wasn’t complete. Excuse me this isn’t a school this is supposed to be college everyone should have freedom. If a student doesn’t perform parents should be called and discussion should be done right there and then if still there are issues. Leave the student be he isn’t interested in studying, they like making things difficult. All colleges have batch timings system and no flexibility with long gaps. The past papers given to us doesn’t have Examiners Report they use the same old past papers being used for 2 to 3 years they aren’t updated at all which no proper MS. There is zero support given to students by the administration they barely listen to us, yeah when the parents come then they have to listen. Even right now graduation is about to come they have put it on 23rd of August on the day of NUMS MDCAT 2026, the exam is taken in the morning while usually as heard by seniors graduation happens from 8am to 12pm. On top of that for our own graduation we have to pay Rs. 5000 it we have to bring our parents along an additional Rs. 2500 that also only one parent like seriously. On such important day of our lives we have to pay for our parents to come see us at our graduation. Btw teachers I got were really good but there are important things wrong with system itself.

Very strict with respect to discipline and academics

Honestly this college has gotten so bad, chose this because of the faculty, Only regret choosing sir kashan, becz he literally wastes time thats it, he doesn't allow students to clear their queries online and isnt available to help , Management of alpha is shit, specially talking about the car situation, there is so much traffic, no space to park ur car or even let the driver wait. College really needs to work on management and Eca. They will charge you for notes that increases your fees, All they need is money, and they would take it kisi bhi tareqe se, Already parents have so much to worry about and then so much fees, also pls dont take their orbed waste of money, and also past paper books, waste of money as well. You would not get any wifi here, college is sooo crowded, less space to sit and walk.

Too much expensive and they shouldnt force uniforms also cost aroudn 6k for shirt and then 6k for pant plus timings issues gabs as well as it feels congested alot and dosnt have much spaces to sit around in cool and wifi sucks plus there are stupid ecas and the prices for them bro why cant it be cheap or free likd this gov everyone is stealing and focused on money making morever clubs dont do anything good like hanvt ever heard about anything good happen plus sir kashan sucks at education gives tons of hw and also ended our entire batch and we couldnt even understand s1 properly timings also are bad and they are alot stricr also fees are too much high and schorship criteria bad really high and give low also on grades morever fees is almkst now 64k and with books taxes it crosses 70 for a single month honestly its better to do privite rather then clg its cheap and also comfortable you can study your own seriously morever for reatake oc nov maths they arent honest like previous yesr it costed 37k and now 39 proof etc because cambrigde said retake will be free also dont choose sir kashan ever morever sir qamar he taught entire last chalter sound waves online got to learn new things when did the exams and sir just vanished no reply nothing and for sir minhas rupsi he seem overated tbh and also i think he just disnt make us do more past papers or questions which are hard but he seemed good but at the same time should be little strict on us for hw but for time hes really strict which is bad he just dosnt allows to enter (rare cases he does allow in genuine reasons) so at the end it wasnt worth it tbh plus for digutal recording yhey ask fir seprate fees even like how greedy can you be bro not worth it tbh

Academics and teachers are great — *Sir Suhail, Sir Nawaid, Miss Nida Malik, and Sir Aslam Jumma* are excellent. But management needs a lot of work. The timetable has too many gaps so with just 3 subjects we’re stuck from 7:45 AM to 2-3 PM. ECA timings are bad and classes are mostly cancelled. There’s no student parking despite high fees. Also every month arrears get added even if fee was paid on time, and we have to keep going to the accounts office to fix it. Overall good teaching but very poor organization.

Trash college in my opinion they take more than 2000 students into the college knowing they have zero possible capacity of being to process these students and students are left with teachers and can't change them to other teachers . really had a mental tole on my help upar se the only it's only a money grabbing college average se good grades walu se PAISA BHAR BHAR ke luute admission se lekar fazool se fazool cheezu par only apply if you have the financial capabilities or You have excellent excellent grades warna not worth it at all ESPECIALLY STUDYING FROM THE ONE AND ONLY SIR KASHAN IQBAL 🥀 many of friends have struggled in his class Sahi se parhte NAI aur phir expect latte hai Bache out preform kare I was alhamdolilah good in Maths so had no issue bit in the end days when students needed to practice topical and Yearlies and complete remaining syllabus I KID u not came in last 15 mins us me se 10 min literally zaya kare talking about 8:40 batch only ending ke 5 mins parhaye and bole ap kou tou sab ata hou ga jaw enjoy your chuti. My friend had a valid crash out he said Am I really paying 50 K PER MONTH FOR THIS SHIT ??? he's very very right in my opinion also when you have more than 2000 students in ur college how do you expect to do ecas and do sports bohat hi kam chance milte hai have experienced this . In the end don't come to alpha go to cedar,nixor, titan Heuser they are much much much better college than whatever this was thank you may Allah enlighten you .

The college feels more like a school than a normal Alevel college. Imposing of stupid rules under the name of Islam and morals and making it really hard for the student body to really thrive. The academics feels forced and most of the time students get ridiculous schedules and horrendous teachers making burnout the main reason for bad grades and then they just blame the student for not studying well enough. The placement is horrible aswell most of the students only go to malaysia hongkong and dubai to flagship universities and there are not enough help in profile building for good universities in the US and UK. There is absolutely no support for retakes the students cannot even take leaves to study for those exams. Directors behave like makeshift gods and their rules and ethics are world class and everyone else are just pawns in their bait. Useless of a management that they can’t even built a simple entry system for the morning and a staff member has to physically scan a card to let them in. Judging students for being leftists and feminists while the staff and the directors are mysoginists and gives stupid “self help” lectures before starting the class and wasting precious time that could have been used towards real education. Absolutely waste of time and money.

Study wise the college is good with faculty being good. Strictness bht ziada h 5 min first class k liye late hogye to wo ghusne nhi deta andar and sunta b nhi h director khud adha adha ghanta class main late aye wo sai h. Baqi events inke saare bekaar from farewell to packwar alpha bazar aes etc bas qawalli thori behter thi. Sports k naam pr bas badminton ya basketball ya football hai. Bache bht bhar diye h k bethne tk ki jaga nhi pehle bleacher the wo tor kr padel bana dia. Area is also very congested apni khud ki gari le jana azab h due to many schools in area. Upar se inka detention ka rule k ghalti se hw nhi dia to 5 baje tk betho college main. Highly recommend to not opt if u want college life and opt if u want to get good grades or tumko zalalat jhelni h 2 saal.

the ECA is soooo biased the head just likes to be glazed their policies dont take students into consideration and they are known for inconveniencing students. the student affairs dept is useless they only make things difficult. they have stupid rules lile no paints during signing and they suspend you for stupid reasons and take no accountability.

Pathetic ECA department as mismanaged events hoty hain like AES and Alpha Bazaar 0 college life as the building is too much overcrowded and one can't even play sports like badminton or cricket due to lack of facilities and sports equipment. Other than that cafeteria and library is always overcrowded Signal issues is a major problem too in college Orientation mai they market their college by selling it in an islamic way like PDA waghera but in reality no such serious actions are taken Overall faculty and academics is good but an A levels students should aim to build a student's personality too where Alpha college fails terribly In short would not recommend this college

Pathetic Eca Pathetic college, thieves for money

Overall it's a good college but the major issue is that whenever we contact the student affairs via WhatsApp, our message often is either left on seen or the problem is not solved immediately

scholarships are revoked if low marks in one or 2 tests. so called " unconditional" everything is js okay-ish about alpha. wouldnt highly recommend. the only reason i enjoyed it ws bcz of my friends. emphasis on " parchi system" and favourtism. counselors dont really give much support, supposed to sign an undertakig at every minor inconvenince and chances are they'll deduct ur scholarship according to their own choice.
